Part 2: Ports of Call

(Those bratty brothers of mine do clean up nicely)
We had a wonderful time visiting some of the ports of call on our cruise.

(me with this guy who owned an ass farm and Oprah (his ass)...he actually is originally from Minnesota)
In St.Thomas, it was a pain to get to the downtown area, but when we did there was some really great shopping. The markets were disappointing to me though, don't try to sell me a knock off Coach bag for 70 bucks telling me that the materials used are genuine leather. I just totally scored at a Coach outlet back home and bought a gorgeous (and genuine) bag for 130...so...I wasn't sold on the cheapo bags. Aaaand to make matters worse, they wouldn't even negotiate.

Dominica was the least commerical of all the ports. As you can see on our faces, we were feelin a little awkward in this photo because there was a homless lady peeing like 10 feet away from us behind a tree and we didn't notice until we got down there...and my mom didn't realize as she was taking the photo...and I Jordan didn't even really notice till we whispered it to him.
My mom and I went tubing down the river here, and it was an absolute blast! I was laughing my ass off the whole time cause most of the people going down the 'class 3 rapids'(...I'm not kidding, they were not like Red Lake Falls thats for sure) were older people...and they were getting bashed all over the place, my aunties tube exploded on a rock, some guy went down the wrong path and basically had to go over some falls...hilarous.

In Curaco, I bought booze. (curaco liquor for like 5 bucks a bottle) This was my favorite port because the Holland influence and the pretty buildings. (ha, I'm such a girl) It had a really cool bridge that changed colors at night too.
Our ship didn't leave till late, so we went to a piano bar to have some bevvies. The bevvies were strong, not watered down like back home so needless to say a strong bevvie + me being a cheap drunk was a good time. My aunt decided to get creative and have a 'photo shoot' on this path that had cool lighting.

Aruba we hit the beach. It was a very beautiful beach, the sun was out, the water was nice...and despite me telling my family...'ok, time to get outta the water, you'll all be burnt to a crisp' the didn't heed my warning and got burnt. But at least they had fun :)
More to come.
